La Argentina Bakery: Inspired by a History of Freedom and Adventure

The name La Argentina not only honors our culture but also the fascinating story of the frigate that sailed under that name. The ship La Argentina, captained by the corsair Hipólito Bouchard, played a key role in the independence of several territories. On his journey, Bouchard freed slaves in Madagascar, fought pirates in Asia, and briefly conquered Monterey, California, where the Argentine flag flew for six days. This spirit of adventure, freedom, and courage is what we strive to share through our food.

At La Argentina Bakery, our mission is to bring you the authentic flavors of Argentina, inspired by our roots and a story that crosses borders. Welcome to our culinary adventure!

"The kitchen has always been a place of learning and passion, especially for Argentine barbecue (asado) and empanadas. With La Argentina Bakery, my mission is to share the rich flavors and vibrant traditions of Argentine cuisine with you—one empanada at a time." – Martin (Founder)
